Savage Worlds Explorers SocietyFrequently Asked QuestionsI noticed that to advance ranks you have to run different games in different settings. Is that official settings or do home brews count? Homebrews count as a single setting. So no matter how many different Homebrews you run, it still only counts as a single setting for SWES purposes.
If I run the same module at different or even the same convention do the runs after the first count? Or do only unique modules run once count? Multiple runs count. It's the number of games we're interested in. The more people exposed to Savage Worlds the better!
Say you sign up to run a game, but for whateever reason no players show up does that still count towards your rank? We'd look at those on a case by case basis. Use the Contact Us button if that happens and we'll see what we can do.
How about running Showdown games? Would I get credit for these? Showdown games count as home brews unless they are from an official showdown product like Rippers: The Horror Wars or Modern Ops. Those count as their own setting.
So does it count if your regular weeky game is at a game store? It counts only IF you allow new players to sign up and play each time.
